Landscaping Committee
Landscaping and Roads meets the third Monday of the month in the POA Office.
Landscaping Rules

No weeds, underbrush or other unsightly vegetation shall be permitted to grow or remain upon a lot.

All portions of the property including improvements shall be maintained in a neat and attractive manner. This includes maintenance of grass, plants, plant beds, trees and turf areas.

Areas around sidewalks, driveways, street curbs and other hard surfaces should be edged to maintain a neat appearance.

Mowing should be done as necessary to maintain a neat appearance. Grass should be cut as appropriate to the type of turf and swept away from driveway, sidewalk and curb surfaces.

All grass should be removed from cracks in sidewalks, driveways, doorsteps and other concrete or hard surfaces.

Vegetation around foundations and doorsteps should be trimmed to maintain a neat appearance.

Plant beds and non-grass areas (“natural” areas) should be kept clean of weeds, debris and other unsightly materials.

Lawn clippings, leaves, tree limbs and other landscape debris should be promptly removed or stored until the next scheduled North Charleston Public Works pick-up. Debris should not be stored or placed on adjacent lots or on common property. Bagged clippings and leaves are picked up on Wednesday of each week. Bulky landscape debris such as tree limbs are picked up on alternate Wednesdays.

Property without residences should also be kept neat in appearance. Weeds and underbrush are to be periodically mowed and cleared. Trash and other unsightly materials are to be removed promptly.
